How long is the recovery time for WaterLipo procedure?

One of the advantages associated with this procedure is its minimal downtime recovery. In fact, most patients can immediately return to their normal routine. Everyone is unique and so is how our bodies respond to treatment. However, we would recommend around 1 to 2 days of rest to ensure that your body would adapt to the procedure and changes that recently took place.
           
            Slight discomfort and soreness may be experienced after the procedure which will go away after a few days. The tiny incision wounds from WaterLipo would heal around 2-3 days. WaterLipo is a safe procedure, so you can resume your normal activities almost immediately.​

How should you take care of yourself after the procedure?

Here are some after-care instructions you could follow to maximize the benefits of WaterLipo and at the same reduce the side effects and risks associated wdith this procedure:
           
            - Wear decompression garments to provide secure compression to the treated areas. Wear it 24 hours for as long as what your doctor instruct you to do.
            - Drink lots of water or liquid BUT avoid alcoholic beverages.
            - Avoid blood-thinning medications.
            - Sensations of dizziness and/or fainting may be felt particularly when the decompression garments are first removed. Don’t panic, this may happen. You can lie down or sit until the dizzy sensation passes.
           
            It is very important to follow what your doctor instructs you, particularly after the operation. Follow-up appointments can be scheduled for your doctor to personally evaluate your progress.​
